Life insurance. People know they should have it, but it’s a difficult conversation for individuals to have with their family and loved ones. If something happens, will their family have the funds to pay the bills? Aflac Life insurance policies are designed to help families get through the tough times.

Below are 3 common types of Life insurance available:

  1. Term life insurance is a popular choice. Individuals choose the length of the policy term: 10, 20, or 30 years, and a face amount starting at $20,000. The premium is fixed for the term of the policy.
  2. Whole life insurance is another choice that offers protection with cash value that grows over time.  It is available in face amounts: $10,000-$250,000 ($100,000 max if over age 50).
  3. Juvenile life insurance, unlike life insurance for adults, is not designed to protect against loss of income.  It is an important foundational product. With youth and health statistically on their side, children are much easier to ensure at competitive rates.  That coverage would already be in place if the child should later develop health issues that could affect future insurability. Parents and grandparents who buy life insurance for children are creating a base of coverage that may be even more valuable when the child becomes an adult.
